There are two major prize bond draws scheduled for this month:

FBR Tax Deductions on Prize Winnings
If you are lucky enough to win a prize, it is important to know that the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) applies a withholding tax on your winnings. Your tax status directly impacts how much of the prize money you take home:
- Active Taxpayers (Filers): A 15% tax is deducted from the total prize amount.
- Non-Filers: A heavy 30% tax is deducted from the winning amount.
Tip: Ensure you file your Income Tax Return by the upcoming September 30 deadline to get your name on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL) and save your winnings from heavy deductions!
